ay 14 of basement renos (May 14):The contractors started painting the basement today. I can't believe how quickly things are moving along. I've heard nightmare stories of contractors that take forever and don't do a great job, but I love my contractors. They are quick and efficient :-)
Again, the paint we used for our whole basement was Benjamin Moore. The colour shown above is Stonington Gray HC-170.
They painted the door to the storage area underneath the stairs a generic white.
With all the primer on the walls you can see they started painting the edges. You can also see our guest bedroom closet door to the left.
Here is the guest bedroom colour. It's Benjamin Moore Smoky Green CC-700.
A view of the guest bedroom closet.
Most of the tiling is done for the shower now. You can see the floor tiles of the shower and the tiles are finished on the ceiling of the shower.
Our little nook with beer cans :-)
That's the view into the office. The colour is Calm OC-22.
There's still a lot to finish in the office.
The cold room/storage room door is now painted a white.
Still quite a lot to do, but here's a view of our overall basement.
Oh, and our washroom vanity came in. You can see the finish that we chose.
