Manzanita branches.


I fell in love with these Manzanita branches at Quince Flowers today. I went in to look at spikey Dahlias for a photo shoot, but I couldn't take my eyes off of these. They were quite expensive- ranging from $85 for the smaller ones (not shown), upwards to $350! However, it would look amazing in a clear vase in my house...


This one actually is not a Manzanita branch, but I loved the squiggly lines.

Simplicity at its best

When I got married in 2006 I inherited some of dk's "stuff". One of those items was an ugly AM/FM radio that is on our bedside table. It's black, plastic and just a sore to see. I've been wanting to get rid of it for some time now and I think I found what I would like to replace it with- the Tivoli Model One Radio in either Classic Beige/Walnut or Silver/White. I think the Silver/White would go better with our bedroom colours.

Early b-day gift

So I know I was talking about wanting a YSL Oversized Muse bag for my b-day, but I was also eyeing a Miu Miu Vitello Lux Bow Satchel bag as well.
I had every intention of getting the Muse, but all the signs were pointing to the Miu Miu. Plus, it was a lot cheaper.
I have no regrets. I'm loving the metallic gray colour- I think it's called Grafite and I love how you can wear it over your shoulder or on your arm. It's so versatile!
Thanks to the hubby for buying it for me.

I love the slouchy shape and how it has a zipper closure.


The lining on the inside is a gorgeous purple satin. Love it!


More details of the bag. The bow on the side is a bit cutesy, but I still like it.
