It's haul time again!

hope that these haul posts that I'm doing aren't annoying. It's just that I get so excited when I buy something that I want to share it with someone. Usually the hubby isn't too interested in things I get so that's why I need an outlet like a blog to express it on.

I never go crazy when I go shopping. I usually buy one or 2 things while I'm shopping and these are things that I've accumulated in a week. Let's start with the clothes:

My husband always makes fun of me how I love buying blazers. I can't help it, it just completes and outfit.

I've been looking for a dusty pink blazer for a while now and when I saw that Zara was carrying them I couldn't pass it up. This will look so nice with skinny jeans and a scarf.

I love the lining of this jacket as well. I think linings are so important in jackets because then when you roll up the sleeves it'll add a nice touch to the look.

I got a size medium. The small fit, but I like jackets when they are a little loose.

I'm so disappointed that this cardigan from Old Navy isn't showing up as pretty as it is in person. It's a light-weight cardigan with satin trimmings. Very Lanvin-esque.

It was also a STEAL at $6.99 (in the clearance section). I also had a $15% coupon so it was even cheaper. I love a good deal...

I think this cardigan would look great over a tank and a skirt with a belt over it. It also looks great unbelted too.

I picked up 2 Zoya nail polishes yesterday. I just started getting into Zoya and I think it's one of my favourite nail polish brands now! The formulation is a bit more runnier than say OPI, Essie, and China Glaze, but it dries quickly and it's not streaky at all. Plus, all the colours are really unique. The only negative is that it chips quickly. I use Seche Vite for my top coat, but I'm thinking of buying Zoya's brand of top coat. I heard that one works really well on Zoya polishes.

This one is called Nikki. It's a dusty pink that looks a little taupe-y too. It has very fine shimmers. The shimmers are silvery green?

This one is called Cheri and I'm wearing it on my fingers now. It's a magenta pink with gold shimmers. I'm not sure if I love this one. I have Gloria and that one is gorgeous. I find that this is a warmer colour and I find warmer colours don't look as good on me as cooler tones.

On Wednesday I went to a La Roche-Posay press event before the Ricardo event with my colleague. We were introduced to this Anthelios line of SPF products. It's great because it has UVB and UVA protection. Usually most SPF products only have UVB protection.

I've been trying out the face lotion before my moisturizer and it's not greasy at all. I really like it. I will try the body lotion when the weather gets a little warmer.

My most exciting purchase of this week- Amore beauty products! I'm a huge fan of Asian beauty products, but it's not as accessible. Today I happened to be by an Amore counter and I couldn't resist getting a couple of products.

I got Laneige Professional Makeup Remover Moisturizing Cleansing Oil and Laneige Star Pure Water Foam. Originally I wanted to get the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack that everyone raves about, but I really needed a makeup remover cleanser.

The sales assistant was explaining what each product does in Korean to me so I'm not sure if I understood everything 100%, but luckily the box came with instructions in English. Here's how you use it:

1. Pump 3 times and spread it over the face.

2. Massage for 1 minute to melt away makeup and impurities (it says it removes even heavy waterproof makeup).

3. Rinse off with warm water.

I'm intrigued by this product. It smells wonderful- I think I smell the grape seed extract. The only negative is that I bought the wrong kind. I have combination to oily skin, but I accidentally bought the dry to combination skin one. Oh well...

I bought this for $26 CAD for 175 mL of 5.9 fl oz.

The sales assistant told me that I really needed a foaming cleanser after the cleansing oil so I bought this. Here's how you use this:

1. Pump once of twice and rub Star Pure Water Foam between palms to make a rich, bubbly lather.

2. Massage gently into skin. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

This product is part of their whitening line so it is supposed to make your skin luminous and clear. We shall see...

This was $17.40 CAD for 200 mL or 6.8 fl oz. It was originally $29, but it was on sale for 40% off.

My favourite thing about shopping at Korean beauty counters are all the freebies I get. They even gave me 2 samples of the Strawberry Yogurt Pack that I wanted to get. The dark maroon samples are shampoos. Apparently it's really good for people who lose a lot of hair. I think it was $35 for a bottle? The blue samples are part of the same line of products as the cleansing oil that I got. I'm going to take this with me when I go on vacation in a few weeks.
