What a crazy 2 weeks I've had.
First I was wrapping up my 5th issue at work, then dk came down with a terrible cold + bronchitis and I just got back last night from a week in Vancouver.
It looks like it'll be another crazy month for me as I will shooting the next 3 covers and
Rosco will need to get knee surgery on Friday. Yikes!
Anyways, here are a few pics from Vancouver + Seattle:
Vancouver:

Near Yale Town. I just fell in love with this sign.

Unlucky number 13.

Stacks of chairs outside a restaurant in Yale Town.

I love seeing the beauty in the ugly. This is a classic example of that.

dk and I rented bikes and rode along the seawall. It was quite lovely.

We ran into a family of raccoons by the
Lost Lagoon.

A beautiful swan by the Lost Lagoon.

A huge building number in Yale Town.
Seattle:

The
EMP near the
Space Needle. Believe it or not, the EMP is quite an eyesore. I found the one area that was appealing enough to photograph.

The famous
Pike Place Market in Seattle.

I loved these little globes around the base of the Space Needle.

Looking up at the Space Needle from the ground.

The original Starbucks. This is where it started. It's across from the Public Market.

There was a huge crowd outside the Starbucks.

The Starbucks was tiny and so crowded.

It was packed at the Public Market. Figures on a Saturday afternoon...

Another view of the Public Market.

I love seeing the fresh produce.

There were lots of entertainers outside the market.

dk and I stopped by this fish and
chips place inside the Public Market.

I had the blackened/seasoned halibut over brown rice with a side salad. The rice and salad was soooo good! Not shown was their delicious clam chowder. Yum!

Across from where we ate was a fish market.

More fresh vegetables.

Tons of beautiful flowers.

An ornate fence by the market.
