I'm back!

orry I've been MIA lately. I'm just so busy with the baby, finishing off my younger sister's wedding invitations (BTW, she's coming over in a little while to work on it some more), watching the Olympics (did I tell you I'm glued to the TV???), and doing some crafting. I just finished making a fabric band for baby A that velcros around Sophie's neck and the other on baby A's wrist. That way when we go out his toys don't fall on the ground. Great idea, no? I'll post some pictures of it later because I'm thinking of selling it on Etsy or something. All my mom friends have been asking me to make it for their little ones. I think my next project is to make a table runner for our dining table. I think it's a simple project that I can tackle, but I've been so distracted lately.

Anyways, I want to say that we did end up getting the media console that I had talked about earlier at West Elm as well as the desk and let me say I LOVE IT! I also got a throw and some pillow shams for my bedroom. Here are some photos:


My new desk! Sorry about all the cables at the bottom. I have to find a way to disguise it. I hate how it looks.


My new pillow shams. I made sure to match it to my bedspread colour. It's in silver sage.


My new throw. I love it because it hides the stain on my chaise lounge.


My new media console. It fills the space so much nicer. Most of the accessories on the bookshelf are from Ikea.
