ne of the items that I wanted to put in the bagasse containers to give as Christmas presents were fruit tarts. I decided to do a test run today to see if it would taste and look ok. It looks like it took a lot of time to make, but it was quite easy. I used pre-made tart shells so I only had to make the tart filling. I topped it off with fresh berries and brushed some heated strawberry jam on top (not shown). It was quite delicious. I'm thinking I'll be making these for a few Christmas parties that I will be going to this year.
